"Sunకి చీకటంటే భయమక్కా , అందుకే రాత్రి బయటికి రాడు " ... gyan by
Samskriti to her elder sister.
And she went on to explain ...
" నీక్కూడా భయం కదా, డార్కయితే, అట్లనే సన్నుక్కూడా"
Prakriti was doing her homework and the topic was related to Solar System. She was asking me (in telugu), to test my knowledge, "Why don't we see the Sun during night time?". Samskriti overheard that and was quick to answer ..."Sun is afraid of darkness, like you, and hence he does not come out in the night".
Prakriti laughed ( I think, because of her KNOWLEDGE about the reality.) I smiled too. And also wondered: Sometimes, not knowing everything is good for creativity. Kids' ability to 'connect seemingly unrelated things' is something that they seem to lose with fact-based education and during their travel to adulthood.
Ah, the pleasures of innocence!!
